About This Opportunity
The New Media category of the All India Children’s Educational eContent Competition (AICEeCC) highlights innovative, technology-driven educational materials that go beyond traditional formats. This category focuses on next-generation digital experiences such as immersive learning environments, XR-based educational content, VR/AR simulations, virtual laboratories, interactive 3D models, gamified learning systems, and other advanced digital tools designed to make education more experiential and engaging.
The aim of the New Media category is to encourage students to use modern technologies to explain concepts through hands-on, interactive, and immersive learning. These experiences allow learners to explore subjects in ways that mimic real-world situations, enabling deeper understanding and practical application. Examples include virtual science experiments, AR overlays for textbooks, VR field trips, and simulated environments that help students grasp complex topics more intuitively.
This category is ideal for students who enjoy working with emerging technologies such as AR, VR, MR, XR platforms, simulation tools, educational gaming frameworks, and 3D interactive environments. It supports the development of future-ready skills and promotes innovative thinking by allowing participants to design modern educational solutions that contribute to India’s growing digital learning landscape.
