About This Opportunity

The All India Maths Science (AIMS) Talent Examination is an annual national-level competition organized by the Centre for Excellence. This examination is designed to promote scientific and mathematical skills among school children, helping them to strengthen their fundamental concepts and analytical abilities. It also serves as a preparatory platform for various future competitive examinations like NTSE, PSA, Olympiads, IIT-JEE, and PMT.

Students from Class 1 to 10, studying in schools recognized by CBSE, IGCSE, ICSE, or any State Board, are eligible to participate. The examination is conducted in English medium only. The application process is primarily managed through participating schools, ensuring a streamlined approach for student registration.

Participants stand to gain significant benefits, including cash prizes, medals, and certificates. Top rank holders receive monetary awards and free registration for the next AIMS Talent Exam. All participants receive a participation certificate, and class toppers in participating schools are awarded an Achiever's medal.

The exam features objective-type questions covering Mathematics, Reasoning, and Science, based on the relevant class syllabus. For classes 1 and 2, there are 25 questions, while for classes 3 to 10, there are 50 questions, all to be completed within 60 minutes. There is no negative marking, and the exam is conducted offline at the respective schools.
