Rounds & format

Matches consist of 2 rounds, each lasting 2 minutes, with a 1-minute rest period between rounds. The competition typically follows a single-elimination bracket.

How entries are judged

Scoring is based on valid techniques to the body and head. Points are awarded for punches to the body (1 point), regular kicks to the body (2 points), turning kicks to the body (4 points), regular kicks to the head (3 points), and turning kicks to the head (5 points). Penalties (Gam-jeom) result in additional points for the opponent.
