About This Opportunity

Codeavour is a premier international competition designed to foster innovation, coding, and robotics skills among students. This annual event provides a global platform for young minds to showcase their creativity by developing projects that address real-world challenges, specifically focusing on themes aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Open to students from 7 to 18 years old, participants can compete individually or in teams to create animations, games, or hardware-based projects using the PictoBlox platform. Winners receive global recognition, certificates, mentorship, and a share of prizes and fellowships worth over $25,000, enhancing their academic portfolios and connecting them with a global community of innovators.

Open to students aged 7-18 years, divided into three categories: Elementary (7-10 yrs), Junior (11-14 yrs), and Senior (15-18 yrs). Participation is open to students globally, including all of India. Both individuals and teams of up to 3 members can register.

Rounds & format

The competition consists of multiple stages: an initial online submission, followed by regional events (which take place in various cities in India) and national-level events. Top performers from the national level qualify for the International Showdown, the grand finale.

How entries are judged

Projects are evaluated based on innovation, creativity, technical execution, presentation, and alignment with the chosen UN Sustainable Development Goal theme. The final decision of the jury is binding.

Selection process

Selection for the next stage is based on the scores awarded by the jury during the evaluation of the project submission, which includes the project's functionality, video presentation, and description.

Fees & financial support

A fee of $35 is required for entry into the regional and national levels. If a team qualifies for the International Showdown, an additional event fee of $80 applies for the finale.
