About This Opportunity
The CREST Mathematics Olympiad (CMO) is an international online competition designed for students in grades KG through 10. Organized by the Centre for Research and Exams in Science and Technology (CREST), this Olympiad aims to challenge mathematical abilities and improve critical thinking skills. Participating in the CMO can enhance academic skills and prepare students for future competitive tests.
The CMO is open to students from KG to grade 10, both in India and abroad. For students in KG to grade 2, there is one level of competition. Students in grades 3-10 have two levels. Eligibility for Level 2 depends on performance in the Level 1 exam.
Participating in the CREST Mathematics Olympiad offers several benefits, including strengthening mathematical skills, developing analytical thinking, and enhancing problem-solving abilities. Participants also gain exposure to a competitive environment, build confidence, and improve time management skills. The Olympiad focuses on improving students' conceptual knowledge rather than rote memorization.
The CMO is conducted online and requires a web-enabled device with a webcam. The exam consists of objective-type questions. The syllabus is designed to align with the school curriculum, making it accessible and relevant for students.
