Rounds & format
The competition consists of three main stages: Participants first submit their projects online, which are evaluated by a jury. Shortlisted projects from the regional level then qualify to compete in the Design Championship Final.
How entries are judged
Entries are judged on five key criteria, each with a 20% weightage: Design and Creativity (originality, UI, responsive design), Technical Quality (code correctness, optimization), Functionality and Content (browser compatibility, navigation), Uniqueness and Innovation (uniqueness of solution, innovative use of technology), and Accessibility and Overall Experience (relevance to theme, UX).
Selection process
Projects are shortlisted based on the jury's evaluation against the defined judging criteria. The best projects from the regional rounds, determined by the highest scores, qualify for the national final.
