Rounds & format
Each level consists of two rounds. Level 1 is an offline, school-level exam. Students from classes 6-12 who score 50% or more qualify for Level 2, which is an online, computer-based test conducted at the zonal level.
How entries are judged
Selection is based on the marks obtained in the multiple-choice question exam. Ranks are determined by the highest scores. In case of a tie, preference is given to the student who completed the exam in less time.
Selection process
Students must score at least 50% in the Level 1 exam to be eligible for the Level 2 Zonal Examination (applicable for classes 6 to 12). Final winners are selected based on their performance in the Level 2 exam.
