The competition consists of up to three levels. Level 1 is a pen-and-paper OMR test conducted at the school. Level 2 is an online, computer-based test for qualifiers from Level 1. Level 3 may be conducted for top performers, depending on sponsorship from national or international organizations.
How entries are judged
Rankings are determined by the marks obtained in the exam. In the event of a tie, preference is given first to the scores in subject-specific questions, followed by General IQ, and then interactive questions.
Selection process
Students who score 40% or more in the Level 1 exam are eligible for Level 2. This also includes school toppers, provided a minimum of 8 students from that class appeared for the exam.
