Rounds & format
The competition consists of three rounds. Round 1 is an online qualifier for individual students. Round 2 features the Zonal Finals, where qualifying schools compete in teams in a live quiz format. Round 3 is the Grand Finale, where the six zonal winners compete for the national title.
How entries are judged
Participants are judged based on the accuracy and speed of their answers. The online round is based on scores from multiple-choice questions. The zonal and final rounds involve various formats like buzzer rounds, riddles, and audio-visual questions, where points are awarded for correct answers.
Selection process
Selection for the Zonal finals is based on the performance in the initial online qualifier round. The top 12 teams from each of the six zones are selected to advance. The winning team from each Zonal final qualifies for the National Grand Finale.
