About This Opportunity
The GYS Charaka Science Medal is a national-level online multimedia science quiz organized by the GETA Service Trust to foster a deeper interest in science among students. The competition is designed to be accessible and engaging, allowing students from across India to participate from home.

Rounds & format
Round 1 is a 30-minute multimedia online quiz. Round 2 is a live, rapid-fire quiz conducted via Zoom for the 10 shortlisted students from each category.
How entries are judged
Evaluation is based on the number of correct answers in the quizzes. The live quiz in Round 2 also tests the speed and accuracy of the participants.
Selection process
10 students from each category (Juniors and Seniors) are shortlisted for Round 2 based on their performance in the Round 1 online quiz. Three winners are then selected from each category based on the live quiz in Round 2.
