About This Opportunity
The ICSI Commerce Olympiad (ICSICO) is an annual academic competition designed to assess and enhance the knowledge and skills of students in Commerce. Organized by the International Olympiad Foundation (IOF) in collaboration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), this Olympiad aims to foster a passion for commerce and prepare students for competitive environments from an early age. It aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) by promoting problem-solving, critical thinking, and cognitive skills.
This Olympiad is open to students currently enrolled in Classes 11 and 12 from any school recognized by SOF, including those affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, IB, IGCSE, and ISC. Participants can register either individually or through their respective schools. There are no other specific academic prerequisites beyond being in the eligible grades.
Participants will gain valuable exposure to a competitive environment and enhance their understanding of commerce fundamentals. Top performers receive international, zonal, and school-level awards, including cash prizes, medals, and certificates. All participants who attempt the Olympiad will receive a participation e-certificate, recognizing their effort and engagement.
The examination is conducted online, allowing students to participate from their residence or any location with internet access. Measures like question shuffling, webcam proctoring, and full-screen mode are implemented to ensure the integrity of the examination. A free mock test is also provided to help students familiarize themselves with the online platform.
