About This Opportunity
The ICSI-SilverZone Commerce Olympiad (ISCO) is a national assessment for senior secondary students to evaluate and deepen their understanding of commerce subjects. A joint initiative by the SilverZone Foundation and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), it provides a platform for students to test their knowledge in Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics.
This competition is open to Class 11 and 12 students in the commerce stream from schools affiliated with CBSE, ICSE/ISC, or State Boards. Participation helps students benchmark their skills against peers nationwide, gain a competitive edge for higher education, and explore careers in finance and corporate governance.

Academic requirement

Cash prizes are awarded to the top 3 international rank holders for each class. The 1st rank holder receives ₹50,000, the 2nd rank holder receives ₹30,000, and the 3rd rank holder receives ₹20,000. In case of a tie, the amount is distributed among winners for up to 10 students.

International Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals are awarded to the top 3 international rank holders. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals are also awarded to class toppers at the school level.

How entries are judged
Ranking is based on the marks obtained in the examination. In case of a tie, a specific tie-breaking formula is applied based on section-wise marks.
Selection process
Winners are determined based on their final scores. Top performers are awarded ranks at the International, Zonal, and School levels.
How to apply
- 1Registration is conducted exclusively through the student's school.
- 2Schools receive a prospectus and registration forms from the SilverZone Foundation.
- 3A minimum of 20 students must be registered from a single school for it to be designated as an examination center.
- 4Individual registrations from students are not accepted.

- Sample question papers are available on the official SilverZone website.
- Students are advised to thoroughly cover their respective board's syllabus for Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics.

Fee details
A participation fee of ₹225 per student is collected by the school. Schools may charge an additional amount (up to ₹25) for administrative expenses.
