About This Opportunity

The Indian Academic Championship (INDAC) Academic Bowl is a premier national quiz competition for students in India. It provides a platform for teams to showcase their knowledge and serves as the direct pathway to represent India at the International Academic Competitions (IAC) in Asia and worldwide.

This competition is open to all students from grades 3 to 12 studying in India, regardless of their nationality. Participants compete in different age divisions in a fast-paced, buzzer-based format, ensuring a fair and challenging environment that tests knowledge across a wide range of academic subjects.

Prerequisites

  • Participants must score 50% or higher in the Online Regional Qualifying Exam (ORQE) to be eligible for the in-person Regional Tournaments.

Grades: 3 to 12. Location: Open to all students studying in India. Nationality: Any nationality is welcome. Requirement: Must qualify through the free Online Regional Qualifying Exam (ORQE).

Selection process

Teams with the highest scores in the preliminary rounds of the regional tournaments advance to the finals. Winners of the regional tournaments qualify for the national championship.
