Open to students in grades 3-12 from any school board in India. Participants compete in five age divisions: Elementary (Grades 3-4), Intermediate (Grades 5-6), Middle (Grades 7-8), Junior Varsity (Grades 9-10), and Varsity (Grades 11-12). Enrollment in an Indian school is mandatory.

The competition consists of three main stages: 1. Online Regional Qualifying Exam (ORQE): A free online test to select participants for the next stage. 2. Regional Tournament: An in-person event with multiple preliminary buzzer rounds and a final round. 3 National Final: An in-person event.

How entries are judged

Participants are judged based on the number of correct answers given in the buzzer-based rounds. Speed and accuracy are crucial, as points are awarded for buzzing in and answering correctly. In the online qualifier, selection is based on achieving a minimum score of 50%.

Selection process

Students must score at least 50% in the Online Regional Qualifying Exam (ORQE) to be eligible for the Regional Tournament. The top 50% of participants in each age division at the Regional Tournament qualify for the IAC Asian Championships.

How to apply

  2. 2Attempt the ORQE up to two times; the highest score will be considered.
  3. 3Score 50% or higher to qualify for the in-person Regional Tournament.
