What's covered
The ISSO syllabus focuses on India's achievements in Space Science and Astronomy. It covers topics such as Artificial Satellites & Space Technology (Kepler's Laws, satellite orbits, fundamentals of rocketry), Indian Space Program (history, ISRO centers, rockets, missions, future missions including human spaceflight), and Observational Astronomy (night sky basics, constellations, celestial coordinate systems). The syllabus also includes the Earth-Moon System (tilt of Earth's axis, seasons, moon phases, eclipses). The final exam will also incorporate content from the Space Science Workshop.
