The competition is held in four stages: Round 1 (Screening), Round 2 (Online Selections), Round 3 (Pre-Nationals), and Round 4 (National Finals). Early rounds are conducted online, with the final round being an on-ground event where finalists build a project based on a given problem statement.
How entries are judged
Participants are evaluated based on WorldSkills standards. Key criteria include understanding of user requirements, system analysis and design, efficiency and correctness of the code, user interface quality, thoroughness of testing, and overall project documentation.
Selection process
Selection for subsequent rounds is based on the scores achieved in the current stage. Top performers from each level advance to the next.
