About This Opportunity

The IndiaSkills Junior Digital Photography competition is a premier national championship for school students, organized by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). This Competition happens every two years. It is organized with help from state governments, companies, Sector Skill Councils, State Skill Development Missions, and many partner institutes across the country. It provides a unique platform for young aspiring photographers to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and artistic vision, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020's focus on practical, skill-based learning.

Open to students from classes 6 to 12 across India, the competition encourages participants to explore the art of photography and benchmark their abilities against national standards. Winners receive national recognition, medals, certificates, and cash prizes, with gold medalists earning the extraordinary opportunity to witness the WorldSkills International competition, the Olympics of skills.
