About This Opportunity
The Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in Bengaluru conducts a state-level science quiz competition in Kannada, specifically designed for high school students. This initiative aims to ignite and enhance interest in science among young minds by challenging their understanding of scientific concepts, problem-solving abilities, and application of scientific principles, rather than just rote memorization of facts and figures.
This competition is open to students currently studying in the 8th, 9th, and 10th standards in government high schools across Karnataka state. Participants must register individually for the initial online test, and later stages may involve team participation. All students who clear the first online stage with over 70% marks will be awarded an e-certificate, recognizing their achievement and encouraging their scientific pursuits.
