The syllabus is strictly as per the NCERT syllabus for classes 9, 10, 11, and 12. It includes topics such as Number Systems, Polynomials, Linear Equations, Coordinate Geometry, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Surface Areas and Volumes, Probability, Statistics, Relations and Functions, Matrices and Determinants, Integrals, Inverse Trigonometric Functions, Application of Derivatives, Application of Integrals, Continuity and Differentiability, Three Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Differential Equations, and Linear Programming.

How entries are judged

Ranks are determined by scores. In case of a tie, performance in Section D (Higher Order Thinking Skills) is considered first, followed by Section C (General Mathematics).

Fees & financial support

Fee details

A non-refundable registration fee of INR 200 is required to participate in the KiiT National Mathematics Olympiad. This fee covers participation in the Olympiad.

Financial support

Scholarships are available for top rankers for admission to KIIT's undergraduate programs, covering a percentage of tuition fees for the entire course. The total scholarship fund is INR 25 crores, allotted for individual scholarships for the top 250 achievers. Eligibility for scholarships requires clearing KIITEE or JEE Main and meeting program-specific criteria. Additionally, cash prizes totaling INR 15 lakhs are distributed among the top three rankers at each class level (IX, X, XI, and XII).
