About This Opportunity
The Monsoon International Speedcubing Tournament (MIST) is an online competition for Rubik's Cube enthusiasts worldwide, organized by the Cube Federation of India (CFI) in collaboration with MindGamez. This event aims to promote speedcubing in India and provide a competitive yet inclusive platform for cubers of all skill levels. It includes official events recognized by the CFI, adhering to international standards.
Participants can register in various age-based categories, including 8 years and below, 8-13 years, 13-18 years, and 18 years and above. Special categories are also available for parents and tutors. All participants need a laptop with a webcam, a stable internet connection, and the Zoom application installed.
Winners will receive winning certificates from CFI and discount vouchers for future events. All participants will receive a participation certificate from CFI. The tournament offers a chance to connect with speedcubing experts and build a community with fellow enthusiasts from around the world, fostering analytical thinking and dexterity.
The competition features a wide range of puzzle formats, including standard events like 3x3x3, 2x2x2, Pyraminx, Skewb, Clock, Square-1, and specialty events such as One-Handed Solves. Big Cube Awards are given for solving 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6, and Megaminx, while Excellence Awards recognize mastery across multiple puzzles.

Rounds & format
