About This Opportunity

The QUEST STEAM Quiz Competition is a national-level event designed to ignite curiosity and critical thinking among school students. Organized by QuestEduAce in partnership with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, this quiz focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) with a special emphasis on India's rich contributions to these fields. It provides an engaging platform for young minds to explore and appreciate India's scientific heritage.

This competition is open to students from Grades 6 to 12 across all school boards, categorized into Junior (Grades 6-8) and Senior (Grades 9-12) divisions. Conducted in a hybrid mode, it starts with an online preliminary round, followed by offline regional finals and a national finale across major centers in India. Participants gain valuable knowledge, enhance problem-solving and critical thinking, and develop teamwork skills.

Rounds & format

The competition consists of three stages: a Preliminary Round, Regional Finals, and a National Finale. The Preliminary Round is conducted online, where students participate individually. Based on their scores, top participants form teams of two for the subsequent stages. The Regional Finals and National Finale are conducted offline at designated centers across India.

How entries are judged

Scoring is based on correct answers. Negative marking will be applied during the Regional and National Finale rounds for incorrect answers.

Selection process

Top performing individual participants from the Preliminary Round are selected to form teams for the Regional Finals. These teams then compete to qualify for the National Finale.
