- 2Alternatively, forms can be obtained by sending a written request with a demand draft of ₹600 for General Candidates and ₹555 for SC/ST Candidates (along with Caste Certificate) in favor of "THE COMMANDANT RIMC DEHRADUN" to RIMC, Dehradun.
- 3The completed application form, along with required documents, must be submitted in duplicate to the respective State Governments by the specified deadline.

A refundable security deposit of ₹30,000 is also required at the time of admission, which is refunded upon graduation from the college. The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Financial support
Various state governments offer scholarships to cadets studying at RIMC. For example, the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, offers a scholarship of up to ₹1,000 per month. Other states like Mizoram offer scholarships of ₹40,000 per annum. Merit scholarships ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 are also awarded to academically exceptional cadets. Financial assistance may also be available for economically weaker sections.
Refund policy
The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. The security deposit of ₹30,000 is refundable when the cadet graduates from the college.
