About This Opportunity

Robofest India Exhibition is a dynamic robotics science fair for young Indian students to showcase creative autonomous robotics projects. This platform fosters innovation and technical skills, providing complete freedom in project design and development.

The competition is open to students in Classes 5-12, with a dedicated Junior Division for Classes 5-8. Participants develop crucial STEM skills, including robotics design, autonomous programming, and project presentation, with winners qualifying for the Robofest World Championship and potential scholarships.

Rounds & format

Teams present their autonomous robotics projects in a 5-minute presentation to a panel of judges. Projects are evaluated using the official Exhibition Judging Rubric. Qualifying for the World Championship can be achieved through local regional events or video submission.

How entries are judged

Projects are evaluated based on the application of STEAM concepts, originality and creativity of the idea, robot design and construction, autonomous robot performance during demonstration, clarity and effectiveness of the project presentation, teamwork, solution design, project complexity, practicality, and programming logic. Emphasis is placed on student independence in design and development.

Selection process

Top-performing teams from the India Exhibition qualify to compete in the Robofest World Championship.
