About This Opportunity
TCS InQuizitive is a prestigious annual inter-school quiz competition organized by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for high school students across India. This initiative aims to ignite curiosity, foster analytical thinking, and celebrate innovation among young minds through engaging questions and gamified learning. The quiz covers a broad spectrum of topics, including current affairs, science, technology, business, arts, and culture, with a special focus on emerging technologies like AI, cloud computing, automation, and robotics.
The competition is open to bona-fide and full-time students from Grade 8 to Grade 12 (including pre-university and junior college) of any school located in India. Participants compete in teams of two from the same school, with multiple entries allowed per school. The event is not open to home-schooled, private-schooled, or distant education students.
Participants gain valuable knowledge in diverse fields, enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and develop tech fluency crucial for future careers. Winners and runners-up receive trophies, mementos, certificates, gift vouchers, and goodies. All participants benefit from a unique learning experience that expands their understanding of technology and its applications.
The competition features physical, on-ground rounds across 12 Indian cities, including a preliminary written round and regional finals. Winning teams from regional rounds qualify for the semi-finals and national finals, which are conducted physically in Mumbai. The quiz is known for its rigorous research and intense competition, making it a national benchmark in the inter-school quizzing circuit.
