Rounds & format
The Olympiad consists of three stages. Stage 1 is a written test conducted at zonal. Stage 2 is a screening round held at the IIT Bombay campus for qualified students. Stage 3 is the Grand Finale, which includes a personal interview and Q&A session with experts at IIT Bombay.
How entries are judged
Participants are evaluated based on their ability to solve the maximum number of questions correctly in the specified time. Later stages involve assessment of critical thinking and pressure handling skills during a personal interview.
Selection process
Top performers from Stage 1, based on a minimum cut-off score, qualify for Stage 2. From Stage 2, the top students are selected for the Grand Finale based on their performance in a screening round.
