About This Opportunity
The Techradiance Jr. World Cup is India's national STEM, Robotics, and Innovation Championship for students in grades 3-12. Organized with E-Cell IIT Delhi, this competition provides a platform for students to showcase engineering and programming skills. It aims to inspire young minds and foster interest in STEM fields through practical, hands-on learning.
This championship is open to all Indian students aged 8-17, participating individually or in teams of 1-5 members. Participants will design, build, and program line follower robots, culminating in a grand finale at IIT Delhi. Rounds & format
The championship follows a 4-phase journey: Registration (January–March every year), Skill Development & Mentorship Program, Preliminary Rounds (Project shortlisting), and Grand Finale at IIT Delhi (April 2026). Preliminary rounds involve project shortlisting, potentially through video submissions. The Grand Finale is an offline event held at the IIT Delhi campus.
How entries are judged
Robots are evaluated on speed, accuracy, design efficiency, and adherence to competition rules. Innovation in robot design and programming, along with the ability to overcome track obstacles and integrate sustainability themes, will also be considered. Preliminary rounds may involve evaluation of submitted videos and project shortlisting.
Selection process
Performance in preliminary rounds, adherence to competition guidelines, and quality of robot design and performance will determine qualification for the Grand Finale.
How to apply

Fees & financial support
Fee details
The registration fee for the open round is INR 700 per student, inclusive of GST. This includes access to online learning resources, a participation certificate from Techradiance in association with ECell IIT Delhi, mentorship, and the opportunity to compete at the grand finale at IIT Delhi. A reduced fee of INR 300 per student applies to Techradiance Zonal Winners.
Financial support
To promote accessibility for diverse economic backgrounds, partial or full fee waivers may be available for economically disadvantaged students. Interested participants should inquire about scholarship application procedures.
Refund policy
Refunds are discretionary and generally not provided more than 15 days after purchase. Eligibility for a refund may depend on specific conditions and is subject to the general refund policy of Techradiance.
