About This Opportunity
The Times NIE Spotlight is a premier national music and percussion competition for school students, organized by The Times of India's NIE program and the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SaPa). It provides a prominent platform for young musicians to showcase their talent, gain national recognition, and compete with peers from across the country.
Open to students from Grade 3 onwards in Times NIE member schools, the competition features categories for different age groups. Participants can win cash prizes, trophies, and significant scholarships for courses at SaPa, along with a unique opportunity for mentorship from celebrated artists Dr. L. Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam.
