Rounds & format
The competition consists of a single online or offline examination. Students are provided with three mock tests to practice before the final exam, which can be attempted up to three times.
How entries are judged
Ranking is primarily based on the total marks obtained in the exam. In case of a tie in the online mode, the student completing the test in lesser time is ranked higher, followed by the younger student based on Date of Birth. For offline mode ties, marks scored in the Scholar section of the previous class, then the previous to previous class, then the Classic section of the previous class, and finally the previous to previous class are considered.
Selection process
Selection is based on the total marks achieved in the single-level examination. Specific tie-breaking rules are applied for both online and offline modes to determine final ranks.
