About This Opportunity

The Unicus Global English Olympiad (UGEO) is a national-level competitive exam that evaluates English language proficiency for students from Kindergarten to Grade 10. This exam is open to students from all major educational boards, including CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and State Boards. Gold Medals are awarded to the top 10% of participants or those with a zonal rank of 10 or less. Additionally, the top 3 participants from a school with over 25 students in a class will also receive a Gold Medal.

The competition consists of a single online examination.

How entries are judged

Ranking is determined by the total marks obtained. In case of a tie, marks from the Scholar Section are considered first, followed by the Classic Section. If a tie persists in the online exam, the participant who completed the test in less time is ranked higher.

Students are ranked based on total marks. In case of a tie in online exams, the student who completes the test in less time is ranked higher. If still tied, the younger student is ranked higher.

Fee details

The fee is INR 225 per subject for students in India, which includes the registration fee (INR 150) and the cost of three mock tests (INR 75). For international students, the fee is USD 15.
