About This Opportunity
The Veer Gatha Project is a national competition for school students, initiated by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education. Its primary goal is to share the stories of bravery and sacrifice of India's Gallantry Award winners with the youth, fostering a spirit of patriotism and civic consciousness.

How entries are judged

Selection process
Schools select the best entry from each category for submission. These entries are then evaluated by nodal officers and committees at the district and state levels. The top entries from each state are forwarded for national-level evaluation to select the final 100 winners.
