The Viksit Bharat Buildathon is India's largest school-level innovation movement, organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog. It aims to inspire over a crore students from classes 6 to 12 to ideate, innovate, and solve real-world challenges, aligning with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

  1. 1Schools register their student teams on the official Viksit Bharat Buildathon portal (vbb.mic.gov.in).
  2. 2Each registered team receives a unique ID.
  3. 3Teams select one of the four themes (Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, Samriddhi) and develop an idea or prototype.
  4. 4The final submission is a 2-5 minute video explaining the project, which is uploaded to the portal before the deadline.
