The VIT Mathematical Quiz is a prestigious national-level team competition for school students, organized annually by the Department of Mathematics, School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. This quiz is open to school students across India, specifically those in Levels I (Grades 6-8), II (Grades 9-10), and III (Grades 11-12). Each team must consist of exactly three members. There is no limit to the number of teams or participants a single school can send, encouraging wide participation from educational institutions.

Participants will gain valuable social and intellectual experiences, enhancing their competitive skills and fostering a lasting passion for mathematics. Winners receive cash awards, merit certificates, and best team prizes. The overall best-performing school also receives a trophy, and all competent participants are awarded consolation prizes.
