About This Opportunity
The WFUNA International Model United Nations (WIMUN) is the world's most accurate simulation of the United Nations, organized by the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA). This award-winning program brings together students from across six continents for an immersive experience in international diplomacy and global policy, featuring intensive training workshops and briefings by UN officials and experts.
This program welcomes youth aged 14 to 30 who are enrolled in high school, university, or graduate school, or are recent graduates. Participants develop crucial skills in negotiation, teamwork, public speaking, and critical thinking, fostering global citizenship and offering a unique opportunity to interact with UN staff and experts.

Academic requirement
Must be currently enrolled in high school, university, or graduate school, or be a recent graduate.
Prerequisites
- Experience in Model UN or high interest in global affairs and the United Nations.
Open to youth aged 14 to 30, including high school, university, and graduate students, or recent graduates. Participants should have prior Model UN experience or a strong interest in global affairs. High school delegates require a chaperone.

- 1Registration is completed online through the MyMUN platform. Applicants need to create a MyMUN profile if they do not already have one and follow the guided registration process.
Fees & financial support
Fee details
The delegate fee is $289 per student. Faculty advisor fees are $189 per advisor, and observer fees are $209 per observer. All fees are non-refundable.
Financial support
WFUNA and WIMUN are unable to offer any scholarships for conference participation.
Refund policy
All fees paid for WIMUN conferences are non-refundable.
