About This Opportunity
WING WARRIORS, part of the World Skill Challenge, is a premier competition for young innovators passionate about aviation and robotics. Participants get the chance to design, build, and fly their own RC planes or drones, putting their engineering and piloting skills to the ultimate test in a competitive environment designed to ignite creativity and teamwork.
Open to students from grades 6 to 12, this nationwide challenge features online submissions, regional rounds, and a national finale. Participants can win cash prizes up to ₹1,00,000, gain national recognition, and develop invaluable hands-on experience in aerodynamics, electronics, and programming for their future careers.

Rounds & format
The competition consists of four stages: Stage 1 is Online Registration & Submission. Stage 2 is the Regional Round where projects are presented live. Stage 3 is the National Finale for top teams. Stage 4 is the International Round for national winners.
How entries are judged
Submissions are judged based on design innovation, flight performance, technical documentation, and adherence to the given specifications. Piloting skill, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are also evaluated during live rounds.
Selection process
Teams are shortlisted based on their online submissions for the regional rounds. Winners from the regional rounds qualify for the National Finale. National winners may be selected to represent India internationally.
