About This Opportunity

The WRC Electric Car Racing Challenge is an exciting competition designed to simulate a high-speed rally race environment. Participants will design, build, and race their custom-built RC electric cars on challenging off-road tracks filled with twists, turns, and obstacles. This event tests skills in mechanical design, electrical systems, and remote control precision, fostering innovation and technical expertise.

This competition is open to all school, college, and university students across India. Participants can register as part of a RoboClub or as individual TechnoXian members. Teams can have a maximum of 10 members, and clubs can register multiple teams, making it accessible to a wide range of young innovators.

Participants will gain valuable hands-on experience in robotics, mechanics, and electronics. Winners will receive cash prizes up to INR 1,50,000, and all participants will be awarded certificates of participation from the International Federation of eSports and the All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA). This competition provides a platform for national-level recognition and skill development in STEM fields.

The racing track is approximately 200 meters long and features an off-road dirt surface with various hurdles. Each round has a maximum racing time of 5 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for readiness. The competition includes multiple qualifying rounds leading to a final round where the top three teams are selected.
