About This Opportunity

The Young Scientist India (YSI) Innovation Challenge, a flagship initiative by Space Kidz India since 2013, is a premier national platform designed to ignite scientific curiosity and foster innovation among high school students across India. Prerequisites

  • Basic understanding of scientific principles relevant to chosen category (Agriculture, App Development, Electronics, Robotics, Space Sciences).
  • Ability to conceptualize and articulate an innovative solution to a real-world problem.
  • Access to necessary resources for project development and video creation.

Additional requirements

  • Must be an Indian citizen.
  • Can participate individually or in teams of 2-3 students.
  • Projects must be original ideas.
  • A guide teacher is required for each project submission.

Open to Indian students in Grades 8-12 nationwide. Separate evaluations for private and government school students. Participants should have a strong passion for science and technology, and projects must be original ideas.
