JSW Sports

JSW Sports is the sports arm of the JSW Group, dedicated to building world-class infrastructure and high-performance training pathways for Indian athletes across Olympic disciplines. The organisation operates the Inspire Institute of Sport, supports the Bengaluru FC football club, and partners with several Indian Olympians on long-term performance programmes. The organisation focuses on grassroots scouting, residential training, sports science, and rehabilitation, with a stated mission of placing India among the top sporting nations at the Olympic and Paralympic stage. JSW Sports works with corporate donors, the Sports Authority of India, and international coaches to fund and run its athlete development programmes. Flagship initiatives under JSW Sports include the Inspire Institute of Sport in Vijayanagar, Karnataka, the JSW Swimming Centre in Odisha, the Shikhar Boxing Centre, and the Giri Centre in Hisar. These centres collectively train hundreds of young athletes on full scholarships and offer holistic support spanning coaching, medical care, nutrition, mental conditioning, and academics. Through its athlete partnerships and centres, JSW Sports has supported athletes such as Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, world-medallist Praveen Chithravel, and judoka Linthoi Chanabam. The group continues to expand its high-performance footprint with new centres and Khelo India accreditations across boxing and wrestling.
