About

Founded in 1911, the Telluride Association is an independent, nonprofit educational organization headquartered in Ithaca, New York. The Association operates the Telluride Association Summer Seminar (TASS), an intellectually rigorous six-week residential program held at Cornell University and the University of Maryland. TASS brings together talented high school students to engage in seminar-style study with distinguished scholars, independent research, and collaborative democratic community governance. All Telluride programs are fully funded — there is no tuition, room, or board cost — and financial need is not a criterion for selection.
