About This Opportunity
The National Sub-Junior and Cadet Carrom Championship is the All India Carrom Federation's annual inter-state championship for its youngest divisions, bringing together players nominated by state and union-territory carrom associations.
Players compete in two age divisions calculated on the date of the draw: Cadet for those under twelve years and Sub-Junior for those under fourteen years, in separate boys and girls categories. Each affiliated unit fields players in singles events along with an inter-state team event. Entries are submitted by the state association on the prescribed form, and players must first be registered with the federation for the year.
Matches follow the Laws of Carrom adopted by the federation, with players in the uniform designated by their state association. Performances feed the national ranking, certificates are issued to participants, and the championship forms part of the pathway through which the federation builds teams for international carrom competition.
