About
The All India Carrom Federation is the national governing body for carrom in India. It oversees national championships, player rankings, tournament regulations and the panels of umpires, referees and coaches, and represents Indian carrom internationally. Formed in 1956 and later registered as a society, the federation conducts several national championships each year across age groups from cadet and sub-junior through to senior and veteran, working through affiliated state and union-territory associations and institutional members. A member of the International Carrom Federation and recognised by the Indian Olympic Association, the federation has hosted World Carrom Championships and maintains the Laws of Carrom and the national ranking system through which it builds teams for international competition.
