About This Opportunity

The PASCH Youth Course (Jugendkurs, or JuKu) is a fully-funded scholarship organised by the Goethe-Institut for students of PASCH partner schools across India. Selected scholarship holders travel to Germany for a three-week residential course that combines intensive German lessons with cultural excursions and intercultural project work.

Participants live and study together with German learners from over one hundred countries. Course locations are spread across Germany, ranging from St. Peter-Ording in the north to Benediktbeuern in the south, allowing students to experience different German regions and everyday life in the country.

The scholarship is open to motivated students from PASCH partner schools who have at least Goethe-Zertifikat A1 level German and demonstrate strong academic performance. Participants can also sit a Goethe-Zertifikat examination during the course, alongside the Young Ambassador Programme that pairs them with German peers.

Approximately 900 PASCH students from around the world receive the scholarship each year. Indian applicants apply through their PASCH school in coordination with the Goethe-Institut Max Mueller Bhavan office for South Asia.
