About This Opportunity
The Nature inFocus Photography Contest is one of India's largest annual wildlife and nature photography competitions, organised by the Bengaluru-based Nature inFocus platform. The Young Photographer category is dedicated to participants aged 17 and below.
Young photographers may submit up to 15 nature, wildlife, or conservation-themed photographs shot within the last five years. Submissions are made online in JPEG format and judged by a panel of award-winning photographers, conservationists, and naturalists.
Winners receive a cash prize of Rupees 50,000, an OM TG 7 camera, and a two-night stay with safaris at a wildlife destination. The runner-up receives Rupees 35,000 and special mentions are awarded a certificate and plaque.
The wider contest also includes adult categories such as Animal Behaviour, Animal Portraits, Conservation Photography, Creative Nature Photography, Wildscape and Animals in Their Habitat, Himalayas on the Edge, and Photographer of the Year. Winning entries are showcased at the annual Nature inFocus Festival.
